They think it’s all about the Benjamin’s, pointing to officers leaving for that sweet, sweet private sector 💰.

Year after year, he watched DACA students ace the UC Davis Cadet Academy and think, “Gosh, I’d love to be a cop!” 🚔 But here’s the twist – they couldn’t. Citizenship requirements shut that dream down.
But dreams are hard to snuff out, especially in sunny California. The Golden State’s bill, SB 960, dropped the citizenship mic 🎤, replacing it with, “Hey, as long as you’re authorized to work in the U.S., you’re good to go!” The switch was flipped on Jan 1. Talk about a New Year’s resolution!
