Their request? Please wire some sweet dollars to our totally not fake company. And, lo and behold, the city bit!
Let’s do some math: The employees wired $1,219,287 in total, but thanks to some eleventh-hour “Wait a minute…” moments, the city snagged back a chunky $434,197 from the fourth wire transfer. However, that still left them short of $785,090. Yikes! 😬🧮
