Ever been to a party where two guests, absolutely uninvited by each other, run into one another and the vibes just… crash? 🎈🤔 Well, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, two flying machines took that idea a little too seriously. At around 12:30 p.m. on a seemingly chill Saturday, a helicopter and a gyrocopter thought it’d be a good idea to exchange more than just flight paths. But who invited this awkward mid-air dance?
The Rotorway 162F helicopter was just doing its chopper thing, and the ELA Eclipse 10 gyrocopter was spinning its tales in the air. Both had a pair of folks aboard. Buddy system: always a good idea, right? ✌️😅 And just to sprinkle a bit of irony on this airborne tale, this shocking ‘meet-cute’ didn’t even go down during the actual air show! The big event, the EAA AirVenture (quite the rave for flight enthusiasts) was in full swing at Wittman Regional Airport.
